Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

The Third Quarter moon is currently 21.6 days old. The next new moon is at 23:00:44, 9 Feb 2024. The next full moon is at 12:31:19, 24 Feb 2024.

Good day, Cosmic Crabs! The Third Quarter moon is now 21.6 days old and if you're keeping track on your star maps, it's about as predictable as my Wi-Fi connection on a rainy day. But hey, don't let that get your antennae in a knot. Your ruling planet Moon is like that nerdy kid who always shows up late to the party, but when it does, it lights up the whole room...or in this case, the night sky! As tides turn and lunar cycles rotate, you may find yourself feeling a bit like a space-time yo-yo. You've been riding the cosmic waves of emotion like an intergalactic surfer with a PhD in quantum physics. Now's the perfect time to channel your inner nerd, dust off those old Star Trek DVDs (yes, DVDs still exist), and remember, the answer is ALWAYS 42. The third quarter moon is urging you to do some spring cleaning. And I'm not just talking about your apartment, but your emotional closet too. It's time to declutter, Cancerians. You've been holding onto feelings like they're collector's edition comic books. It's time to let go of those emotional 'mint condition' relics, because honestly, they're not going to appreciate in value. Don't forget, Cancer, you're part of a universe that is billions of years old, has countless galaxies, and probably has more planets than I have unread emails. (And yes, that's a lot!) Your problems are smaller than a quark in comparison. So remember, no matter how confusing the cosmic signals may be, you've got the power of the moon, the wisdom of the stars, and the perseverance of a red dwarf star. Let's boldly go where no crab has gone before! #NerdyCrab #CosmicSurfing #QuantumCancer #InterstellarSpringCleaning #BoldlyGo
