The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.
It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.
You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.
The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Hey there, Crabby people! You're in for a wild space ride this week.
With the moon aging like a fine interstellar wine at a ripe old 21.3 days, it's like our cosmic cheese wheel is three-quarters of the way done. Or as you, my dear Cancerians, might relate better - it's three-quarters of the way through its Netflix binge-watching marathon. #MoonBinge
Thanks to this Third Quarter moon, your emotions could be more unpredictable than my Wi-Fi connection on a stormy day. One moment you're laughing at cat memes, the next you're sobbing at a coffee commercial. It's all good though, because let's face it, that coffee commercial was really touching. #EmotionalRollercoaster
Financially, uncertain times lie ahead but don't worry, you're not about to go bankrupt. Think of it more like when you think you've run out of chips, and then you find a secret stash at the back of the cupboard. Just be careful with your resources, and maybe don't splurge on that gold-plated avocado toast holder. #FrugalCrab
In terms of love, Venus is doing a waltz with Mars right now, and we all know what that means - passion is coming your way! So, keep an eye out for those subtle flirty signals, like when they laugh at your nerdy science jokes or compliment your tie-dye socks. #LoveIsInTheStars
Remember, Cancer people, life's like a big bang theory episode. It's filled with unexpected plot twists, lovable characters, and loads of laughter. So, embrace the chaos, keep your sense of humor about you, and always... always... remember to recycle. #EcoWarrior
Stay groovy, Cancerians! Until next time, peace out and live long and prosper. #AstroNerd
