Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

The New moon is currently 0.4 days old. The next new moon is at 11:58:05, 11 Jan 2024. The next full moon is at 17:54:43, 25 Jan 2024.

Greetings, my celestial crustaceans! #CancerVibes As the Moon, your ruling planet, is currently showing her shy side being just 0.4 days old, your energy may feel as low as an introverted alien at a Torchwood Christmas party. But fear not, my cosmic crabbies, this is only a temporary state and not, I repeat NOT, a reason to start auditioning for a role in "The Walking Dead". With such a fresh-faced moon, you might feel like you've been beamed into an episode of Star Trek where no one's got their communicator on. It's like trying to have a conversation with a Weevil - you know there's something going on in there, but you're not quite sure what. #AlienLife However, don't let this freak you out, Cancerians. This is just the universe's way of telling you to focus on yourself for a change. Think of it like recharging your sonic screwdriver. You can't keep fighting off Cybermen without a bit of 'me' time. So, grab your favorite snack (if it's pizza, make sure it's not delivered by any suspiciously robotic looking delivery guys), put on your comfiest pyjamas, and binge-watch your favorite nerdy TV series. Embrace your inner geek! #NerdAlert As the moon begins to wax, so too will your energy. Before you know it, you'll be back to saving the world, one existential crisis at a time. Remember, even the Doctor needs a break once in a while. In conclusion, Cancer, remember that even in the face of a new moon's darkness, you can still find the light. Or at least, a good torch. And always remember, you've got the whole universe inside you - so why let a pesky 0.4 day old moon get you down? #StayCosmic Until next time, stay safe, stay nerdy, and may the force be with you! #AstrologyWithHumor #CancerHoroscope #MoonChild
