Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

The Waxing Crescent moon is currently 1.9 days old. The next new moon is at 23:32:07, 12 Dec 2023. The next full moon is at 0:33:43, 27 Dec 2023.

Alright, my lovely little Crabs, here we go! Under the newly waxed crescent moon, you're about to experience some cosmic shenanigans that would make any Time Lord do a double take. First off, just because you're ruled by the Moon (the coolest celestial body, if you ask me), don't think you can mope around like a Dalek who's lost its laser. No, sir! Not on this astrologer's watch. It's time to take a leaf out of the Doctor's book and embrace every situation with gusto, even if you don't have a sonic screwdriver at your disposal. Your intuition is going to be as sharp as a Cyberman's wit, which, believe me, is saying something. So, use it wisely. Don't let emotions turn you into a gloomy Sontaran, instead channel them into creativity. Maybe write a sonnet or paint a starry night. Heck, why not knit a super long scarf, à la the fourth Doctor? Remember, Cancer, you're as resilient as the TARDIS herself - able to regenerate and adapt to anything life throws at you. So, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Take a wild ride through the vortex of life and see where it takes you. Finally, don't forget that laughter is the best medicine. So, make sure to keep that sense of humor handy, like a trusty Sonic Screwdriver. Who knows, you might just save the universe one day with a well-timed joke! So, strap in, keep your wits about you, and as they say in Gallifreyan, "Tardis-fey, naydawn-ey" (keep your chin up, Crab!). #OutOfThisWorld #CancerHoroscope #CosmicCrusader #WaxingCrescentWisdom
