This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity was very low. New Regions 3628 (N08E74, Hsx/alpha) rotated onto the ENE limb, were numbered, but were otherwise unremarkable. New spots were also observed near N23E63. However, these remain unnumbered at this time as they appear to be in decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters reflected weakening positive polarity CH HSS influences. Total field ranged 3-7 nT, the Bz component was +/- 5 nT and solar wind speeds decreased from ~460 km/s to just below 400 km/s by the end of period. Phi was predominantly oriented in a positive solar sector.
There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 35% chance of a minor event, a 15% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Alright, stargazers, gather 'round. It's time for a cosmic update! Mercury is currently hanging out in Aries, and let me tell you, it's like a science nerd high on caffeine - fast, furious, and oh-so-eager to share its epiphanies.
You see, when Mercury channels its inner Han Solo and parks itself in Aries - the Star Wars equivalent of the Millennium Falcon on hyperdrive - our thoughts don't just walk, they sprint. And they certainly don't stop to ask for directions. This period is like your brain decided that waiting for anyone or anything is the equivalent of watching paint dry.
With Mercury in Aries, our minds are more restless than a cat on a hot tin roof. We're not about to stand still and replay old mental tapes. Nope, we want to charge ahead to the next big thing - the next galaxy, if you will.
This transit is also one heck of a motivational speaker. It gives us the push we need to say exactly what we think and feel. Aries being the zodiac's poster child for "me," this celestial combination boosts our confidence to speak our minds. But beware, this go-getter attitude might ruffle some feathers when cooperation, compromise, and sensitivity are needed.
But here's the fun part: our thoughts and speech could become more courageous and innovative. You know those annoying problems that have been hanging over your head like a stubborn rain cloud? Well, with Mercury in Aries, flashes of insight pop up like surprise guests at a party, making it easier to think of fresh solutions. So don't second-guess yourself. Your first thoughts are often your best ones during this transit.
So grab these sparks of brilliance as fast as you can, because just like Han Solo's Millennium Falcon, they'll zoom off as quickly as they appeared. So, sit back, enjoy the ride, and remember - may the force be with you!
Venus
Venus is in Pisces
Venus will change from Pisces to Aries in the next 24 hours.
Venus is prograde at 28 Pis 53' 03", moving at 1.24 degrees per day, and is 244320898km away and receding.Alright, stargazers, put down your quantum calculators and listen up! Venus, our cosmic sweetheart, has taken a detour through the celestial waters of Pisces. Oh joy! As if we didn't have enough uncertainty in the universe.
Let me paint you an astrophysical picture: Imagine you've been sucked into a black hole of love, where everyone's mistakes are hidden behind nebulae of affection and starry-eyed romanticism. That's Venus in Pisces for you. It's like a romantic comedy directed by a quasar. You're so smitten you can't see the asteroid belt for the asteroids!
But hey, be careful out there, okay? Venus in Pisces can be a little...foggy. And I'm not referring to interstellar dust clouds. I mean it could make you overlook some pretty major flaws in your romantic interests. Like the fact that they leave their socks in the supernova or never refill the photon dispenser. So, maybe let's hold off on any major commitments, unless you're absolutely certain they're not a mirage created by a mischievous alien with a hologram projector.
But, let's not be all doom and gloom (after all, we're not stuck on a spaceship with a depressed robot). There's a silver lining to this cosmic event too. Venus in Pisces can help you appreciate your significant other, even if their snoring sounds like a collapsing star. Embrace the magic of the cosmos and let go of that control stick. Love, after all, is about as predictable as quantum physics.
And let's not forget about the green stuff (no, not alien slime - money!). With Venus diving in Pisces' waters, it's a prime time to monetize those imaginative or spiritual pursuits you've been dabbling in. Just remember, Venus in Pisces isn't about selling out for the big bucks. This transit would rather you use your gifts for something meaningful. Maybe donate some stardust to a good cause?
So there you have it, folks, your cosmic weather forecast. Remember, the universe may be a chaotic and unpredictable place, but at least it's not boring! Now, where did I put my telescope...
Mars
Mars is in Pisces
Mars is prograde at 09 Pis 33' 03", moving at 0.78 degrees per day, and is 310855395km away and approaching.
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is prograde at 18 Tau 03' 29", moving at 0.22 degrees per day, and is 869614788km away and receding.
So, guess what, folks? Jupiter, our solar system's resident big shot, decided it was time for a bit of a vacation and has set up camp in Taurus. Now, I don't know how much you know about space, but Jupiter is about as subtle as a supernova at a stargazing party. And Taurus, well, let's just say if Taurus were a person, they'd be the one at the party who has to touch everything.
So what happens when the planet of wisdom, Jupiter, decides to bunk with the zodiac’s most stubborn sign, Taurus? It's like having a PhD philosopher move in with a bull. Expect deep discussions about the meaning of life...and possibly a broken china cabinet or two. But remember, wisdom isn't some mystical thing that only comes from ancient scrolls or the top of a mountain. Sometimes, it's right there, in your own head, waiting for you to stop binging Netflix long enough to notice it.
With Jupiter in Taurus, we get an all-access pass to turning dreams into reality. Think of it as your own personal 'get stuff done' power boost. Big J inspires growth, while Taurus brings the patience and determination. Together, they're like your own cosmic life coaches, cheering you on as you tick off those goals one by one.
Things could get pretty prosperous during this cosmic hangout. Jupiter is like a celestial lottery ticket, bringing good luck and fortune, and Taurus? Well, they know a thing or two about wealth. So, don't be surprised if you find a few extra coins down the back of the sofa or that job promotion finally comes through. But remember, with great power comes great...temptation to spend it all on fancy gadgets and gourmet pizza. Taurus loves the good life, but even they need to remember that a balanced budget is more satisfying than a maxed-out credit card.
So, as Jupiter settles into Taurus, let's all take a breath, embrace the wisdom, and maybe put a protective cover on that china cabinet. Because who knows what could happen when the cosmic bull gets a big visitor!
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 13 Pis 57' 50", moving at 0.11 degrees per day, and is 1578871029km away and approaching.
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is prograde at 20 Tau 56' 40", moving at 0.05 degrees per day, and is 3051636246km away and receding.
Attention all Earthlings! Uranus is making a pit stop in Taurus and it's about to shake things up more than a malfunctioning warp core. I'm talking a level of chaos that makes a Klingon house party look like a Vulcan meditation session.
Taurus, as some of you may know, would rather stick to the status quo than change their socks. But guess what folks? Uranus didn't travel 3,051,590,233.639345169km just to maintain the status quo! This celestial body is all about change, disruption, and innovation. It’s like the cosmic version of that friend who comes over and rearranges your furniture because "the feng shui was off."
Now, Taurus is a bit of a Gordon Gecko when it comes to money - it's their bread and butter. But with Uranus in town, we're talking revolutionary changes to our financial systems. Think Bitcoin but on steroids. Banks as we know them might become as outdated as a Betamax player, and the stock and housing markets could see more ups and downs than a Ferengi's profit margins.
On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is issuing a call to arms for us to cut the chains of financial bondage. Debts, taxes, interest rates, rent – these are no longer going to be the black holes sucking away your hard-earned latinum. This is our chance to redefine our relationship with money and materialism. It's time to boldly go where no one has gone before, and let's face it, stubbornly clinging to old ways won't stop these changes from happening any more than a Tribble can resist multiplying.
So buckle up, my fellow stargazers! The changes we make during this interstellar journey could lead us to greater financial stability and freedom than we ever imagined. It's going to be a wild ride, but remember - resistance is futile!
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is prograde at 28 Pis 01' 37", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 4616065875km away and approaching.
Pluto
Pluto is in Aquarius
Pluto is prograde at 01 Aqu 54' 44", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 5275474997km away and approaching.
Grab your telescopes, folks! We've got Pluto doing its metaphorical cha-cha in the sign of Aquarius. Now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute, isn't Pluto that planet we dumped then decided was okay again?" Yes, indeed, my fellow space nerds! But let me tell you, Pluto doesn't hold grudges. It's too busy doing its thing - shedding off old identities like a snake sheds its skin, only with less hissing and more cosmic energy.
So, what does it mean for us Earthlings when Pluto starts tangoing with Aquarius? Well, let’s get ready for a planetary renovation! We're not talking about changing the wallpaper or adding a new rug. Nope, we're talking about tearing down the walls and rebuilding from the ground up. This isn’t your grandma’s home makeover show; this is Extreme Makeover: Universe Edition.
Aquarius, the sign of progress and innovation, joining forces with Pluto, the planet of transformation, is like when Batman teamed up with Superman. Expect some worldwide changes in science, technology, and don't forget - Space travel! Elon Musk, eat your heart out.
But it's not all about tech and rockets, my friends. We're also looking at a huge potential shift in civil rights and humanitarianism. It’s as if Pluto and Aquarius are joining hands and singing Kumbaya at the top of their cosmic lungs. Those who value cooperation and empathy will find themselves on the VIP list of this cosmic party. So, let's put aside our squabbles and start practicing our group hugs, shall we?
On a personal level, dear star gazers, Pluto in Aquarius is nudging us to rethink our place in the Universe. It's asking us to look beyond our own noses and think about the bigger picture. It’s as if Pluto is saying, "Hey, why not trade that selfie stick for a telescope?"
So, the question is, will we answer the call? Will we embrace this cosmic shake-up and use it as an opportunity to grow, both individually and collectively? Well, I don't know about you, but I'm dusting off my dancing shoes and getting ready to groove with the cosmos. Pluto in Aquarius, let's boogie!
