Solar Activity
Solar activity was at low levels. The strongest event of the period was a C3.5 flare at 07/1224 UTC from around the NW limb. Region 4105 (S15W14, Eai/beta) was responsible for the remaining low-level C-class X-ray activity. The region remained the most complex on the visible disk, but was in gradual decay. The other four spotted regions only exhibited minor changes.
Solar Wind
Solar wind parameters reflected the waning influence of transient in the solar wind. Total magnetic field strength peaked at 16 nT just before 08/0000 UTC. The Bz component reached as far south as 12 nT but returned to a mostly northward orientation after 07/2030 UTC. Solar wind speeds were predominantly between 400-450 km/s.
Energetic Particle
The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was near background levels.
